snoRNAs are Deregulated in Patients with Parkinson’s Disease

چکیده
Purpose: Small nucleolar RNAs are ranging from 65 to 300 nucleotides in length that mediate post-transcriptional RNA modifications. They don’t have a 5′-Cap and poly-A tail categorized as C/D box snoRNAs, H/ACA small Cajal body-specific RNAs. snoRNAs essential roles important biological processes such transcription, splicing, cell cycle, etc. In this study, we tried reveal differential expressions of PBMCs patients with Parkinson’s Disease by microarray analysis.
Materials methods: Patients (n=3) who considered unilateral onset history good response dopaminergic treatment the first years were included study. 10 ml peripheral blood sample was taken for mononuclear isolation. Total extracted using GeneAll® Hybrid-R™ kit analysis performed Affymetrix GeneChip Human ST 2.0 platform. Raw data Command Console Software 1.1. KEGG pathway GO terms analyses protein-protein interaction host genes determined STRING database.
Results: Data revealed there 28 downregulated 3 upregulated.
Conclusion: Here evaluated definitive diagnosis PD observed deregulated some snoRNAs. Differential expression snoRNA may cause changes transcriptional activity thus can serve biomarkers diseases.

Automatic, unsupervised classification of dyskinesia in patients with Parkinsons Disease
One of the characteristic symptoms of patients with Parkinson Disease (PD) is a rigidity of movement. These symptoms disappear after administration of Levodopa. However, the long-term use of levodopa causes involuntary movements (dyskinesia). A proper diagnosis requires an automatic, unsupervised method for the detection and classification of levodopa induced dyskinesia. The main problem, howev...
